My main tool for developing is Notepad++ accompanied by WAMP, Firefox, Web Developer & Firebug extensions, and W3C Validator. I am proficient using Adobe Fireworks and Photoshop for image editing and splicing. To test cross browser compatibility, I use IE 5.5 +, Safari, Chrome, and Opera.
Education
I am en-route to finishing the Applied Web Development Associate Certificate Program at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT). Aside from upgrading my technical skills, I have learned to determine business processes and requirements; consequently communicating them using traditional modeling techniques.

Information Technology has been evolving since the 70's. From basic fundamentals to development approaches such as Agile, one must have the thirst for knowledge to keep pace with the trends in IT.
I get my web technology updates from a slew of resources such as newsletters, RSS feeds, social networks and workshops. I am fascinated by the trends that make the web an effective information delivery vehicle for businesses and mainstream media.
